Our schools cricket coaching sessions are delivered on a weekly basis by our experienced and friendly female coaches. Many of the coaches play for Loughborough University or Loughborough Lightning Super League team. Our female coaches act as the perfect role model for girls growing up.
Schools Cricket Coaching for Girls
Every coaching session is based around having fun whilst developing and building skills and attributes such as confidence, team work, leadership skills and learning how to win and lose gracefully. The sessions are also great for improving all round fitness and skills that can be applied in other sports.
All of our coaches are fully qualified, as well as being first aid trained and having a full DBS check.
You can choose to have either curricular or extra-curricular sessions, depending on what suits the school best:

The last session will see all the schools take part in a tournament to be hosted at Loughborough Carillon CC. This will be a fantastic opportunity for the schools to put into practice everything they have learnt in a fun and welcoming environment! The day will be led by our brilliant team of coaches and will no doubt be an amazing day for everyone involved!

Are you a school looking to inspire your pupils? You could arrange for former England Women cricketer, Lydia Greenway to visit your school. In her School Visit she will deliver a cricket coaching masterclass along with a talk and Q and A session for your gifted and talented students.
Experience of elite level cricket
Lydia Greenway represented England for over 13 years and is a double World Cup winner and five times Ashes winner. Lydia can share her experiences of what it is like to reach the top level of sport. She will also discuss the challenges that go with it. Lydia tailors the talks to make it relevant to your pupils. She ensures it to be a worthwhile experience for both the school and pupils.
Lydia is a fully qualified Level 2 cricket coach, is first aid trained and has a full DBS check.

We also offer Holiday Programmes which can be used by clubs to generate new players and interest. They also provide a great way to kick start to your season.
Former International cricketer Lydia Greenway and her coaches can work with your Girls and Womens County teams. This can be as as a one off session or over an extended period of time. Lydia and her team provides cricket coaching and expertise which covers many areas.

Ideal for all abilities, Cricket Day Camps are a great way for clubs to raise awareness about their female section and help grow their membership base. The day involves a morning of skills and activities followed by its very own “World Cup” in the afternoon. It is for girls of all ages up to 18 and is run by Lydia and her coaches. It is also a great way to start the season and bring players together.
A fun and enjoyable cricket experience
The players will be given the chance to practice all areas of the game, and gain insight into how England players train at the top level. Each player will also receive their very own goody bag at the end of the day!

Promoting Your Course
Leading up to the Day Camp, Cricket For Girls can provide marketing content for the club. This includes leaflets and posters to circulate in local schools and sports clubs. This will increase awareness and help to generate interest.

Our Cricket Masterclasses are designed to give girls insight into the modern game from International players. There are a range of masterclasses and workshops run throughout the year in various locations around the UK. They are suitable for female players of all ages and abilities looking to make improvements in their game.
